Well it's starting to look like it's going to be a pretty fun summer. I'm pleased to be capping it off with a performance at Piknic Electronik on Labour Day.

Evolve Festival - July 19-21 Antigonish, NS

I'm excited to be returning to Evolve this year to mix some bouncy bass music for everyone. Evolve was the very first festival I ever went to; going there kind of feels like going home. Silly times with silly friends guaranteed.

Future Forest Electronic Music Festival

I'm excited to be playing at a brand new fest this year, Future Forest, which is taking place over the July 26-27 weekend on Mactaquac Lake, New Brunswick. Lots of fun DJs playing this thing, including Udachi, Wick-It the Instigator and many more. Should be a time!

Two New Mixes

So here are two new, very different mixes I just made.

The first - "No Pants" - is the kind of mixtape I used to make back in the day, first on cassettes and later on CDs. It's a break from the usual bassy/clubby music I usually bother to put into mixes these days, and is pretty fun to listen to: basically just a bunch of tunes strung together back to back, covering a whole whack of styles, from Hip-Hop to Metal to Punk to Electronic and more. The second - "Auditory Cheesecake Volume 3" or "Fancy Pants" is the sort of mix I've been meaning to make for a long time but haven't gotten around to until now. It's a more serious-sounding collage of experimental electronica, classical music and other things designed to take you on a bit of a head trip. Some friends may remember Auditory Cheesecake Volume 2., a mix CD I made years ago and burned dozens of copies of... that one was a bit of a hit, I remember... maybe this one will be too? Enjoy:

The End of Pinky

I'm pleased to report that work on The End of Pinky is 99.99% done! This is a really cool 3D Animation adaptation of Heather O'Neill's short story by the same name, directed by Claire Blanchet.



I was fortunate enough to get to do the sound design for this, and to work alongside a whole bunch of super-talented folks. It'll still be a minute before it sees the light of day, but when it does, oh boy... Can't wait.
