The End of Pinky: FNC

I'm pleased to announce that, after what I hear was a very well-received première at TIFF, The End of Pinky will be screening in the city of its genesis, Montreal. It's part of a showcase of 3D films at the Festival de Nouveau Cinéma (FNC), and will therefore be shown in its full 3D glory. There are two screenings, on October 15th & 17th. Info and tickets can be found here.

Children, It's Alright

Here is the rather bizarre "Children, It's Alright" short I did sound design for earlier this year. It is the story of a community of weird little creatures who worship the moon and are preyed upon by a strange bird-beast. When they interrupt the natural order of things by killing the bird-beast and worshipping the shrine they build with his corpse instead of the moon, things seem to go downhill.

Messtival

As I get ready to head to the Antigonish area for Evolve, I'm happy to have come across this hilarious, Tim & Ericesque teaser for yet another East Coast festival to look forward to - Messtival:

Messtival 6 - A festival that happens from TBA Collective on Vimeo.

I'm looking forward to this one for lots of reasons: lots of great music and great friends (and great visuals, too, I'm told) and, to top it off, I gather a certain Daryl and his Boogie Buttons will be doing his thing. (That's me.) If you're in the area, come on out!
